Neslavna statistika: Müldür na EP 2024 dosegel deseti avtogol
Turški nogometni branilec Mert Müldür je v sobotnem dvoboju četrtfinala evropskega prvenstva v Nemčiji proti Nizozemski dosegel že deseti avtogol na tem prvenstvu. Nizozemci so po zaslugi tega napredovali v polfinale.
Sicer pa so lastno mrežo na tem turnirju zatresli že Belgijec Jan Vertonghen, Turek Samet Akaydin, Italijan Riccardo Calafiori, Albanec Klaus Gjasula, Čeh Robin Hranač, Španec Robin Le Normand, Nizozemec Donyell Malen, Nemec Antonio Rüdiger in Avstrijec Maximilian Wöber, piše hrvaška tiskovna agencija Hina.
Doslej je bilo v zgodovini EP doseženih 30 avtogolov, največ, kar 11, pa na zadnjem EP 2020. V zadnjih dveh izvedbah je tako padlo že neverjetnih 21 avtogolov, še posebej v primerjavi z le devetimi na prvih 15 EP med letoma 1960 in 2016.
Vse do pete izvedbe turnirja jih sploh ni bilo, leta 1976 pa je kapetan Češkoslovaške Anton Ondruš proti Nizozemski dosegel prvega.
