Tate Modern aprila razstavlja poznega Matissa
V londonski galeriji Tate Modern bodo v april odprli veliko razstavo del Henrija Matissa. Kot so zapisali na spletni strani galerije, je razstava z naslovom Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs izjemna priložnost za ogled vrste Matissovih del in njegovega poznejšega umetniškega zmagoslavja.
V 60. letih, ko mu je šibko zdravje preprečila slikanje, je Matisse začel iz barvnega papirja izrezovati zasnove za vrsto del. Odkril je nov medij, v katerem je ustvaril več umetnin.
Razstava na ogled postavlja 120 del, ki prikazujejo vse od sončnic pa do cirkuških prizorov. Razstavljena so dela, ki jih je umetnik ustvaril med letoma 1936 in 1954.
Med drugim sta razstavljeni deli Polž in Spomin na Oceanijo, ki sta prvič, odkar so ju ločili v Matissovem studiu, postavljena skupaj.
Po Londonu, kjer bo na ogled med 17. aprilom in 7. septembrom, bodo razstavo postavili še v newyorški MoMI, nato pa bodo dela vrnili galerijam in zasebnim zbirateljem. (sta)
