NBA: Dragić i Udrih z odlično igro pomagala svojima ekipama do zmage
Slovenska košarkarja v severnoameriški ligi NBA sta z dobrima predstavama pomagala svojima ekipama do zmag. Posebej razpoložen je bil Goran Dragić, ki je ob zmagi Phoenixa v Dallasu s 102:91 v 37 minutah dosegel 21 točk, 13 podaj, štiri skoke, dve ukradeni žogi in blokado.
Beno Udrih pa je za Orlando, ki je doma ugnal Milwaukee s 113:103, v 47 minutah zbral 13 točk, 11 podaj, štiri skoke in dve ukradeni žogi.
Phoenix je s 24. zmago v sezoni prekinil niz desetih porazov, hkrati pa nekaj tekem pred koncem rednega dela Dallas dokončno pahnil izven končnice. Prvaki 2011 bodo tako prvič v zadnjih trinajstih letih sezono končali že po rednem delu.
Goran Dragić, ki je bil znova najboljši igralec Phoenixa (sledil mu je Luis Scola z 11 točkami in 15 skoki), ima do konca sezone še tri tekme, v katerih bo skušal svoje moštvo potegniti z dna lestvice zahoda. Naloga ne bo lahka, saj ima predzadnjeuvrščeni New Orleans tri zmage več, Phoenix pa se bo srečal še z Minnesoto, Houstonom in Denverjem.
Še nižje kot Phoenix bo ob koncu pristal Orlando Bena Udriha, ki je zabeležil jubilejno dvajseto zmago, tako da ima tri tekme pred koncem (Boston, Chicago, Miami) dve zmagi naskoka pred najslabšo ekipo lige Charlottom. Junaka uspeha sta bila Nik Vučević s 30 točkami in 20 skoki ter Tobias Harris, ki je dosegel 30 točk in zbral 19 skokov.
