Novi avstrijski zunanji minister bo komaj 27-letni Sebastian Kurz!
V novi avstrijski vladi bo vodenje diplomacije prevzel 27-letni Sebastian Kurz iz Ljudske stranke, ki bo na tem mestu nasledil dosedanjega zunanjega ministra in podpredsednika avstrijske vlade Michaela Spindeleggerja. Slednji bo po novem finančni minister, poročajo tuje tiskovne agencije.
Deset tednov po avstrijskih parlamentarnih volitvah so se socialdemokrati (SPÖ) pod vodstvom dosedanjega kanclerja Wernerja Faymanna in Ljudska stranka (ÖVP) podpredsednika vlade Michaela Spindeleggerja v četrtek dogovorili o nadaljevanju velike koalicije.
Velika koalicija je prevladujoča oblika v Avstriji po drugi svetovni vojni. Več kot polovico (40 let) v 68-letni zgodovini po prvih parlamentarnih volitvah po koncu druge svetovne vojne je bila v Avstriji na oblasti velika koalicija med SPÖ in ÖVP.

V intervjujih deluje suvereno, na zunaj je vedno prijazen, poleg tega pa je dejaven na Facebooku in Twitterju. Na družabnih dogodkih mladeniča z značilno nazaj počesano pričesko, ki je vedno odlično oblečen in se primerno vede, radi vidijo.

Politični svetovalec Thomas Hofer sicer v Kurzu ne vidi nobenega tveganja za Avstrijo. “Pozitivno je, da avstrijska zunanja politika tako ali tako ni bila zastavljena kot dominantna,” meni Hofer. Podkancler Michael Spindelegger, ki je doslej vodil zunanji resor, poslej pa bodo v njegovih rokah finance, pa za seboj ni pustil kakih prevelikih lukenj.
Kurz je šel po maturi leta 2004 v vojsko, že med študijem prava, ki ga še vedno ni zaključil, pa je postal vodja podmladka ÖVP. Pozornost je pritegnil predvsem s svojo kampanjo za občinske volitve na Dunaju leta 2010.
Ta je potekala pod sloganom ‘Schwarz macht geil’, kar bi lahko prevedli kot Črno je/vas naredi kul oz. seksi, pri čemer se črno nanaša na ÖVP. V kampanji so uporabili tudi črn avtomobil znamke hummer, ki so ga poimenovali ‘Geilomobil’, sam Kurz pa je ob tem potencialnim volivcem delil kondome.
Kot piše avstrijski Kurier, to vsem ni bilo všeč, a Ljudsko stranko in njenega predsednika Spiendeleggerja je motilo le malo. Zato so takrat 24-letnega Kurza povzdignili na novo vzpostavljeni položaj državnega sekretarja za integracije.
S tem je Kurz postal dotlej najmlajši član kake avstrijske vlade, številne skeptike pa mu je po poročanju dpa uspelo hitro prepričati. Strankarski kolegi, ki so ga sprva zaničevali, se namreč sedaj uvrščajo med njegove podpornike.
Soglasno pravijo, da mu je na položaju državnega sekretarja uspelo javno razpravo o tujcih, ki je v Avstriji pogosto ostra in pod vplivom desničarskih svobodnjakov (FPÖ), narediti bolj stvarno. Zavzemal se je za liberalizacijo zakonodaje o državljanstvu.
Njegov lajtmotiv na položaju je bil integracija prek dosežkov, slednje pa bi lahko pripisal tudi sebi. Kot navaja Kurier, je njegovo delovanje prepričalo tudi kritike.
Za svoje cilje se je Kurz po poročanju dpa obrnil tudi na znane osebnosti s priseljenskim poreklom, ki so obiskovali šole in tam govorili o svoji uspehih. Na Kurza so ob tem leteli očitki, da se težjih tem raje ni loteval. Pri izgonih družin ali občutljivih vprašanjih prosilcev za azil se je držal v ozadju in vprašanja raje napotil na notranje ministrstvo.
Kurz po lastnih besedah ne želi ostareti kot politik. V več intervjujih je tako povedal, da se čez deset let ne vidi več v parlamentu, saj da so v življenju še lepše stvari. (sta)
