NBA: Miami Heat in Los Angeles Lakers ponovno premočna za tekmece
Vodilna ekipa severnoameriške košarkarske lige NBA Miami Heat je v noči na ponedeljek doma premagala Chicago Bulls s 105:93. Moštvo Los Angeles Lakers, ki bo do konca sezone brez poškodovanega prvega zvezdnika Kobeja Bryanta, pa je bilo pred domačimi gledalci z 91:86 boljše od San Antonio Spurs.
LeBron James je tekmo v Miamiju končal s 24 točkami, Dwyane Wade je dosegel 22 točk, ekipa Miamija pa je postavila rekord po številu zmag na domačem igrišču, doseženih v eni sezoni. “Dobra tekma je bila, še posebej proti tej ekipi. Proti Chicagu preprosto ne gre, da se pojaviš na igrišču in zmagaš. Treba je garati vso tekmo in to smo storili,” je po tekmi povedal James, ki je dosegel še sedem skokov in šest podaj. Prvi strelec Chicaga je bil z 19 točkami Luol Deng.
Los Angeles Lakers so kljub odsotnosti Kobeja Bryanta, slednji bo zaradi pretrgane Ahilove tetive odsoten do konca sezone, vknjižili pomembno zmago. Sinočnja zmaga nad San Antoniom jim namreč zagotavlja priključek k mestom, ki vodijo v končnico. Prvi mož jezernikov je bil Dwight Howard, ki je dosegel 26 točk in 17 skokov, Steve Blake je k izkupičku domačih prispeval 23 točk. V dresu San Antonia je 23 točk dosegel tudi Tim Duncan.
Nemški zvezdnik v ligi NBA Dirk Nowitzki pa je sinoči ob zmagi njegovih Dallas Mavericks v gosteh pri New Orleans Hornets s 107:89 presegel mejo 25.000 doseženih točk. Nemec je tako postal šele 17. igralec v ligi NBA, ki mu je to uspelo. V tokratni tekmi je dosegel 19 točk, Shawn Marion je dosegel dve več. Nowitzki ima zdaj na svojem računu v 15. sezoni NBA 25.009 točk.
V ostalih tekmah so Toronto Raptors s 93:87 premagali New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks so bili z 90:80 boljši od Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers so z 91:77 premagali Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets so bili od Portland Trail Blazers boljši s 118:109, Houston Rockets pa so Sacramento Kings odpravili z visokih 121:100.(sta)
