Znani splitski boksarski trener Željko Nešić se je po večkratnem klicanju in čakanju na reševalno vozilo v sredo odločil, da bo hudo bolnega očeta iz bolnišnice domov pripeljal na bolniški postelji. Nenavaden prizor na ulici je šokiral mimoidoče, ki pa so pomagali Nešiću, je poročala Slobodna Dalmacija na svoji spletni strani.
Nešić je za splitski časnik pojasnil, da je s 83-letnim očetom že večkrat tudi po šest ali ali sedem ur čakal rešilca. Oče je zbolel za parkinsonovo boleznijo, ima diabetes in vstavljen kateter ter se ne more premikati, v splitski bolnišnici pa mu oskrbijo rane od preležanin.
Kot je dejal, je rešilec zjutraj takoj po prvem klicu prišel po njih domov, pohvalil je tudi oskrbo v bolnišnici. Potem pa sta z medicinsko sestro večkrat poklicala rešilca, da bi se lahko oče vrnil domov. Po več urah čakanja se je odločil za brezupno potezo, saj se je oče počutil vse slabše, nujno je potreboval hrano in pijačo ter zdravila, ki jih je imel doma.
“Počil mi je film,” je izjavil Nešić, ki živi kakšen kilometer stran od bolnišnice in je z očetom na bolniški postelji prispel domov čez četrt ure. Na poti po pločniku so mu pomagali nekateri someščani, ki so nenavaden prizor tudi fotografirali.
“Za to sem se odločil, ne da bi se promoviral, temveč da bi opozoril na težave v zdravstvenem sistemu, ki očitno ne deluje. Naj bo to opomin za vse, da se tudi drugim someščanom ne bi zgodilo kaj podobnega,” je še izjavil Nešić. Potem ko je poskrbel za očeta, je vrnil posteljo v bolnišnico in se zahvalil osebju.
Direktor zavoda za nujno zdravniško pomoč v splitsko-dalmatinski županiji, zdravnik Leo Luetić, je dejal, da nenujne reševalne prevoze opravljajo, ko zmorejo, prednost imajo tisti, ki prevoz najbolj potrebujejo. Dodal je, da splitsko bolnišnico vsak dan obišče 3000 ljudi. “Ljudje morajo biti potrpežljivi. Čez dan imamo štiri ekipe za prevoz, ki pokrivajo celo mesto”, je dejal.(sta)
