Letošnje poletje se vračamo na Planet opic: prihaja Rise of the Planet of the Apes!

Nismo zagovorniki filmskih nadaljevanj in predelav kultnega filma PLANET OPIC, a je nov filmski izdelek ameriškega filmarja RUPERTA WYATTSA (to je že deveti film, ki ga je Hollywood posnel po romanu ¨La Planète des Singes¨ oskarjevega scenarista PIERRA BOULLEA) obetavna napoved za nova nadaljevanja filmske franšize ¨RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES¨. Omenjen prvi del ima izvirno zgodbo in ne vklučuje nobene zgodbe iz prvotnih serij kultnega filma PLANET OPIC.

¨To je del mitologije, in tako jo je treba tudi razumeti, ne gre za nadaljevanje starih filmov, to je originalna zgodba in podlaga za nadaljevanje novih delov, nekaj podobnega kot smo videli pri NOLANOVEM filmu BATMAN BEGINS (2005)¨
Spomnimo! Najboljši film PLANET OPIC izvira iz davnega leta 1968, ki ga je posnela kamera oskarjevega kultnega filmarja Franklina J. Schaffnerja. Na drugo in tretje mesto lahko damo naslova ¨Battle for the Planet of the Apes¨ (1973) in ¨Conquest of the Planet of the Apes¨ (1972) oskarjevega nominiranca in režiserja J. Lee Thompsona. Edini, ki se je v 21. stoletju še najbolj približal originalnemu filmu je oskarjev nominiranec TIM BURTON, ki je posnel predelavo kultnega filma PLANET OF THE APES/Planet opic!

Kaj se zgodi, ko opice postanejo pametnejše od človeka?
“RISE OF THE APES” je dejansko predzgodba kultnega znanstvenofantastičnega trilerja Planet opic iz leta 1968 postavljena v San Francisco. Znanstvenik dela poskuse na opicah, da bi odkril zdravilo za Alzheimerjevo bolezen. Po tem ko ¨Caezar¨, eden od opic, začne kazati znake naprednega razvoja, ga znanstvenik odpelje domov, da bi ga skril pred svojimi kolegi. Kmalu začnejo tudi ostale opice kazati znake razvoja… začetek bitke za prevlado opic na zemlji se lahko prične!
V WYATTSOVI zgodbi bomo videli prodornega filmskega zvezdnika- oskarjevega nominiranca Jamesa Francoa (127 HOURS/127 ur 2010) v gl. vlogi znanstvenika Willa Rodmana, prelepo zvezdnico FREIDO PINTO (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE/Revni milijonar 2008) v stranski vlogi ¨Caroline¨ in filmskega igralca Andyja Serkisa (Gospodar prstanov: Bratovscina prstana 2001) v udarniški vlogi opičjaka ¨Caezarja!¨ Scenarij za film sta napisala Amanda Silver in Rick Jaffa- scenarista grozljivke THE RELIC/Relikvija (1997). Za zanimivost dodajmo še to, da je ¨RISE OF THE APES¨ nastal pod okriljem Weta Digital (oskarjeva filmske hiša, ki je skrbela za posebne vizualne učinke pri filmu AVATAR Jamesa Camerona!).
Opice bodo premierno mutirale na zemlji 5. avgusta (2011).
