Čeprav se nogometna tržnica še ni odprla, pa so v NK Maribor že poskrbeli za verjetno največji slovenski prestop letošnjega zimskega prestopnega roka.
Od vijoličastega dresa se poslavlja steber mariborske obrambe Siniša Anđelkovič. 24-letni Kranjčan, ki je še pred dvema letoma igral za razpadajočo Dravo, je svoj meteorski vzpon doživel prav v Mariboru. Garanje in stoodstotni profesionalizem, pa sta se mu povrnila zdaj, ko je podpisal za italijanskega prvoligaša Palermo, kamor sta poleti že odšla Armin Bačinović in Josip Iličić. Mariborska blagajna bo z odhodom Anđelkoviča bogatejša za dober milijon evrov.
Po odhodu enega najboljših slovenskih branilcev sploh, pa so v Mariboru že našli menjavo zanj. Novi član vijoličastih je postal 21-letni Jovan Vidovič, ki je doslej igral za Domžale. Po besedah športnega direktorja NK Maribor Zlatka Zahoviča, gre za igralca, ki velja za najperspektivnejšega branilca naše lige.
Skoraj dva metra visok branilec je z vijoličastimi podpisal 4-letno pogodbo.
