Lutkar iz Sezamove ulice odstopil zaradi obtožb o spolnih odnosih z mladoletnikom
Lutkar za popularnim karakterjem Sezamove ulice Elmo, 52-letni Kevin Clash se je v torek umaknil z delovnega mesta zaradi obtožb, da je imel spolne odnose z mladoletnikom. Clash je sporočil, da se želi z obtožbami spopasti zasebno.

Elmo je že drugi karakter Sezamove ulice, ki se je znašel v novicah. Pred volitvami je bil to “Big Bird” (Veliki ptič), ki ga je na soočenju predsedniških kandidatov omenil republikanec Mitt Romney. Dejal je, da mu je sicer všeč, vendar pa bo na položaju predsednika kljub temu ukinil zvezno proračunsko financiranje televizije PBS, ki predvaja tudi Sezamovo ulico.
Na srečo PBS in oddaje, ki vse od leta 1969 otroke uči številke in črke, je na volitvah zmagal demokrat Barack Obama. Sezamova ulica pa bo morala sedaj najti drugega Elma.
Kevin Clash je v svoji karieri osvojil številne televizijske nagrade emmy, lani pa je bil glavni predmet obravnave dokumentarnega filma “Biti Elmo”, ki je osvojil nagrado žirije na filmskem festivalu Sundance.(sta)
